Tips for Helping Crowns Last
Dental crowns can last a very long time if they are properly cared for. However, you must make sure you are gentle with them. If you are not careful or caring for your crowns properly, expect them to last less than five years. By taking care of them properly, you can extend that up to nearly 20! Make sure you brush your teeth and floss like clockwork every single day. You also need to use your crowns gently - no ripping items open with your teeth! Plus, make sure you come in and let us check your mouth every six months. The better you care for your oral health, the longer your dental crowns are likely to last.
